TIPS FOR LAYERING NECKLACES

I prefer to wear a few different lengths of chain, some with and some without pendants. If I’m wearing larger statement earrings, then I wear the empty chain closest around my throat (usually a 16″ chain), and keep pendants on longer chains so they don’t compete with the earrings. When wearing necklaces 20″ and longer, I wear a chain 1.7 mm or heavier so if it catches on something, it doesn’t break. I vary chain weight and style when layering, so I’ll wear one or two of this rounded box chain in different lengths and weights, and then add to it a third paperclip or other link chain, so each chain stands out on its own and as a group.
